On-Going Support for Tutors

Shortly after a tutor is matched with a learner, a seasoned tutor calls him/her to help address questions or concerns that the tutor may have after the training. Tutors are always encouraged to contact the LV-Bangor office and receive support and direction to other resources.

Throughout the year, tutors can participate in training seminars and networking opportunities. We also provide additional resources to support tutors and learners as well as refresher training on important teaching strategies or training on topics that were not covered during their initial tutor training.
